Transform Yourself Tuesday - Breakfast Frittata Recipe

 You will need:
2 eggs
Milk
Butter
Mushrooms (can be replaced with onions)
Bacon
Cheese
Herbs and Cracked Black Pepper (optional)

Step 1: If you grill is one you have the preheat, set it now! If not, you can turn it on later.
Step 2: Cut up your mushrooms and fry them.
Step 3: Fry 1 or 2 slices of bacon (or more if you're bacon mad!) and then cut them in little slices.

Step 4: Break 2 eggs into a bowl or jug.
Step 5: Add a little bit of milk and wisk.

Step 6: Tear up/grate/cut up your choice of cheese (I used Applewood cheese which has paprika in).
Step 7: Put your cheese, bacon and mushrooms in the egg and milk mix and add any pepper/salt.

Step 8: Put some butter in a frying pan and turn it on the highest heat.
Step 9: When the butter has melted, pour your mixture into the pan. Stir slightly for a minute but then leave you think the bottom has browned. (Do not fold or flip!)

Step 10: If you'd like any more cheese on top or would like herbs on top, add these now.
Step 11: Wrap a damp dish cloth around the handle of your pan and place it in the grill. Leave until the top looks slightly browne/not runny.

Step 12: Dish out your frittata and tuck in! You can serve it with brown or red sauce.

Note: I've had this for breakfast twice and both times I stayed full for around 4 hours with no snacks!

  3. It's so simple to make and really quite quick as well once you get used to doing each step!

Definately try the body shop, and don't be put off by the size of the tube, may look small but you only need a tiny drop :)

  5. It is an omlette but you put it in the grill and don't fold it, whereas an omlette you would usually only fry and sometimes fold it :)
